A hotchpotch of everything.. { Sunday, June 29, 2008 * }

Im enduring the pain that is running through my body. OMG its so painful. I gotten scratches on my arms and the back and front of my body. 2 scratches about 15cm long on my left arm, 4 scratches about 2-3 cm in between my neck and chest and a tiny one behind my back. Ok don't jump into conclusions and not I have not been physically abused. Its totally a lame reason actually. I gotten all this painful deep red scratches from by cat due to his cold feet to take a bath. Seriously. I shouldn't have bothered helping mum bringin the act to the toilet cz he ran when he caught sight of the toilet. In addition, I was so not looking forward to have 'injuries'. The bad cat is still running lose ard the residence of the Khalid's family!
First week of school
*************
Wow time do travel fast and tmrw is already the second week of school. School has been ok and there's a slight improvement in everybody. Even the discipline matters in school have been 'improved'. I've been caught for highlighted hair. Haha when the hell did I highlight my hair? I don't have time for all this shit. Ok back to school, I wish I was more attentive during physics lesson but ultimately school life has been preety good and im looking forward to have my MT oral taken.
Oouh speaking of MT, I had a conversation with dad and it all started when I switched the channel to Suria when dad was watching channel 5. He said' why did u changed the channel?'. Lets summarize, I totally disagreed with him. He said that my malay or any other teenager malay was crappy so i replied, english is more important than malay in education wise cause when we failed english, we have nowhere to go rite? So that was where it all began. Is it true that malay now are too westernized? Not enough 'malay' in them? But what is malay in the first place? if you were to ask the malays what is MELAYU, they will keep quiet for a second thinking of a good answer or just stammer. Still even how crappy our malay is, we still talk in our MT language rite when we have conversations with friends even if its not purely a malay sentence, I mean we do insert a bit of english. I talked more malay than english even if there are still english words inserted. Anyway it has already become a norm among teenagers to talk in malay with english words inserted in between their sentences. I am not saying that we forgotten our ancestors or who we really are, our language is still our language and even if we tend to speak more english than malay, we are still malay. Talking in english does not change our skin colour.
Am i debating or something?? Ok dats all.
